On Saturday 28th March 2026 Connect Links Networking hosted it’s first charity ball in aid of Cancer Research UK (CRUK) at Lea Marston Hotel — what an absolutely amazing evening!
A huge thank you to all of the businesses & individuals who supported the event by purchasing tickets, donating raffle prizes, sponsoring tables and arrival drinks, buying raffle tickets, and bidding so generously in the auction. Thank you in particular to Paul Barnes from Cloud Accounting Support Services Ltd for being a headline sponsor for the event & donating several prizes for the raffle.
Everybody’s support truly made the night unforgettable.
Special thanks to our fantastic entertainment team — DJ Garry for keeping the dancefloor alive, and Imosha Events & Videography for their brilliant 360 video and Magic Mirror, both of which were a massive hit! Also, thank you to Helium Heaven for the stunning balloons and beautiful entrance display.
I’d also like to personally thank Cheryl Barnacle and Alison Barnes for helping me (Donna Reed) organise the event — I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you both.
Together, we raised an incredible £5,727.12 for Cancer Research UK! This will go a long way in supporting Cheryl, our dedicated local CRUK volunteer, on her inspiring journey towards raising £1 million.
We hope to confirm a date for 2027’s Charity Ball very soon!
